Events, Activities & Other Payments

Where the website accepts payment for an event, course, fundraising activity, conservation experience or other offering, the description, price and any event-specific conditions displayed at the time of booking will form part of the transaction.

Where event-specific terms conflict with these general Terms & Conditions, the event-specific terms will take precedence.

Prices & Currency

Unless expressly stated otherwise, amounts displayed and processed through this South African website are in South African Rand (ZAR).

Any bank charges, foreign-exchange charges or card-issuer fees imposed on the payer remain the responsibility of the payer.

Payment Processing

Online payments may be processed by an independent payment service provider.

Where payment information is entered directly into the payment provider’s secure environment, the Organisation does not need to receive or store the payer’s full card details.

All payments remain subject to the payment provider’s technical, fraud-prevention and verification processes.

A donation, booking or order will only be considered successfully paid once confirmation has been received from the relevant payment provider.

Accuracy of Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that information published on our website is accurate.

However, conservation programmes, events, species work, project timelines and operational requirements may change.

We reserve the right to correct errors, update information or amend programme and project details where reasonably necessary.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original website content including text, branding, graphics, photographs, project materials and other original content belongs to the Organisation or is used with permission.

Such material may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the Organisation.

Any dispute will be dealt with in accordance with applicable South African law and by a court or forum having jurisdiction.
